AGM
2025-2026 Annual General Meeting Announcement
The AGM meeting will be in the Bob Rintoul Hall, CP Arena on Thursday, May 21, 2026 at 7:00 PM
As per the CPGHA Constitution, the business of the AGM shall include the following:
- Call meeting to order
- Approval of minutes of previous Annual General Meeting
- Board reports
- Election of executive (see list below)
- Questions from the membership
- New business (including motions to adopt, amend, revise, or repeal Articles of the Constitution*)
- Adjournment

Board positions open for nominations: (role descriptions can be found here)
- President
- Treasurer
- Ice Scheduler
- High Performance Director
- House League Director
- Coach Representative
- Special Events & Communications
Please be sure to review the CPGHA Constitution for full details on the nomination process and requirements.
Key points include:
- Any voting member may nominate an individual for a CPGHA executive position
- Nominations must be seconded by a voting member, and the nominee must consent to stand for election
- Nominations for the position of President must be received 14 days prior to the AGM
- All other nominations for an executive position must be received 5 days prior to the AGM
- Completed nomination forms must be submitted via email to the CPGHA Secretary at cpghasecretary@cpgha.ca (forms available under the “Forms” tab on the website)
- Questions can be directed to the CPGHA Secretary via email cpghasecretary@cpgha.ca
Amendments to the Constitution
As per the CPGHA Constitution, notices of motion or amendment to the Constitution must be received, in writing, to the Secretary no later than fourteen (14) days prior to the Annual General Meeting.
